The Waterwalk Pavilion was a major focus of the 2011 Riverfest. This was an upscale venue that allowed festivals goers to enjoy beverages, alcohol, and wine in an upscale setting. We partnered with Splurge magazine to target our key demographic. As such the ad needed to reflect class while also relating to the general theme and look for Riverfest. I used the butterfly and star elements from the poster artwork and drew from the implied shapes to make the martini glass and base. The color scheme was taken from the new Riverfest logo to tie it all together.
